We're Hiring An Architect / Team Leader!
We seek an Architectural Leader to join our downtown Stillwater, Minnesota team. This position requires an experienced architect with robust design, technical, and management skills. You will take on a leadership role not only in managing our architectural projects but also in helping shape the future of our firm. You will provide strategic and technical guidance, mentor team members, and manage client relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
8-12 years of experience in architectural design, project management, and leadership roles.
Architectural license in Minnesota is required. Licensure in Wisconsin and other states is desirable.
Extensive experience managing and performing projects in a variety of sectors, with an emphasis on high-end single-family residential and moderate-sized boutique commercial.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client expectations, and deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
In-depth knowledge of building systems, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
Expertise in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of the local community and relationships with local contractors and consultants is a plus.
Ability to work in a collaborative, in-person office.
Responsibilities
Lead/perform architectural projects from initial concept through completion, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the design and construction process.
Provide strategic input on the direction of the firm's operations, design standards, technical standards, and business development initiatives.
Cultivate and manage long-term client relationships, acting as a liaison and ensuring satisfaction across all project stages.
Lead project teams by managing resources, delegating tasks, and maintaining accountability for the team's performance and project delivery.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and risk management strategies, ensuring adherence to financial and time constraints.
Direct construction administration efforts, ensuring that projects meet technical and design specifications.
Mentor and develop staff members, fostering their growth and professional development.
Participate in firm-wide initiatives, including business development, recruitment, and strategic planning efforts.
Represent the firm at industry events, fostering a presence within the architectural community.
